I begin with ideas

I’ve decided to get super meta about this whole workshop for wordpress and blog about my thinking as I’m thinking and as I’m creating.

I am beginning with two guiding ideas:

• Design choices should be predicated on content.
• Content should be created and/or featured with audience in mind.

 

I continue with questions

Sometimes you already have content when you are starting a website. Sometimes you are starting a website to contain (and help generate) content. Both of these situations, however, require you to ask some questions basic to any communications endeavor:

1. What do I want to communicate?
2. Who is my audience?
3. How do I best communicate my content to my audience?
